In the Q Waits Business app, tap on the hamburger icon and then tap on Queue settings. In this screen you will get to see a feature " Scan QR Code to activate". This feature is turned off by default. In order to use this feature, first of all you need to enable this.
Once this feature is enabled, you can scan the QR code that gets generated in the Q Waits app which was used by the customer to check-in to your business. You will find a scan icon at the top right corner of your screen and once you tap it, it allows you to scan the QR code of the customer. and the app will change the status of the customer to Active from Waiting automatically,
Please note that, when this feature is turned off, you can still scan the customer QR code. You need to change the status manually by tapping on the customer after scanning. But if this feature is turned on, the app makes the customer "Active" automatically if you scan the QR code.
